The culinary offerings here celebrate classic brunch and light fare with a contemporary twist. Signature dishes like the Eggs Benedict variety—which ranges from the decadent Salmon Benedict and rich Pork Belly Benedict to the intriguingly savory Brisket Bene—showcase perfectly poached eggs crowned with luscious hollandaise, served with generous portions that satisfy both heart and appetite. For those craving sandwiches, the Monte Cristo and the Falafel Sandwich stand out for their articulate balance of textures and flavors, whether it’s the delicate, moist falafel wrapped in a biscuit or the savory layers of the Monte Cristo.

The menu’s versatility shines through the creative brunch plates such as the Marsala Omelette or the Spicy Tofu Hash—each dish expertly infused with freshness and vibrant seasonings. Sides like the crispy, golden potatoes come highly praised, with one patron describing them as “absolutely delicious,” underscoring the kitchen’s commitment to quality in every bite.

Baked goods and sweets are elevated here as well, with treats like classic Beignets and the memorable Apple Pie drawing dessert lovers back time and again. The cafe also caters thoughtfully to diverse dietary needs, offering gluten-free options and vegetarian-friendly choices such as the Veggie Pesto Pasta and the light, flavorful Falafel Plate.

Beverage options match the charm of the food, featuring expertly crafted drinks like the Bloody Mary and the refreshing Lemon Drop Mimosa. Even the small touches, such as adding fresh fruit-infused water, demonstrate a keen attention to detail that enhances the overall dining pleasure.

While some diners noted that prices can feel a bit steep for certain dishes, the generous portion sizes and the warmth of the service more than justify the cost. Many guests cherish the cafe’s authentic, unpretentious vibe, touched by friendly staff who make you feel genuinely welcomed and cared for.

Rosebud's Cafe stands as a local gem that balances comfort food with gourmet flair, a place where flavors, community, and hospitality come together seamlessly. Cute restaurant visited by many locals (always a good sign). We went there on a whim on a Saturday morning for late breakfast - early brunch. We enjoyed some live music while we ate. Everything was good. The portions are generous. The potatoes were absolutely delicious.

It is a small but busy dîner. The mother and son duo are great. Everyone is nice. When I ordered a Burger I was given a choice of rye bread instead of the White Bread.

Love the details of the cafe! Like adding fruit in the water to add more flavor and different painting covers from the kids. Great food and welcoming services

Ate here last week. Haven't been to Rosebuds since we moved, but pretty much the same place it was when we left Amador Co. Wonderful, friendly staff from beginning to end of service. Delicious food and generous pour of coffee. Surprisingly, it wasn't packed, but there was a steady stream of people who were taken care of tout de suite. The falafel on biscuit was moist and not overly seasoned. My husband's eggvbreakfast came with his choice of wonderful homemade fig jam. Our server told us a bit about the local food sources they use as well as their upcoming 35 years in business. I'm happy Rosebuds is still doing well. They've always been good to the community.

Stopped through while visiting friends, we decided to eat here because of the reviews. The food was delicious, the beignets were freshly made and the sauces were good. My only complaint would be the prices, $20 for a burger and arugula side salad with nothing else but arugula? Or $20 for 2 eggs, 2 pieces of bacon and biscuit with gravy? the live music was beautiful and a nice touch, overall a cute small town cafe.

To say I love their food is an understatement! So many options, such as gluten free, vegan, etc. my current obsession is the avocado toast with bacon. Loved their steak sandwich with Gorgonzola but everything I’ve had is consistently delicious, year after year. Though I don’t eat out much, Rosebud’s is my go to for guilty pleasure. Speaking of “guilty”, make sure to grab a sweet treat on your way out.

It's a Gem. Welcoming. Service was friendly. Basic breakfast sandwich was basic but delicious with crispy bacon. Grits were done right! Very good and large portion. My son loved the avocado toast and it was a fair portion. Beignets were very good maybe not as fluffy as New Orleans but still super good and nice topping. This place is certainly worth a visit.

Service is 5 star all the way! Wonderful people work here and you can tell they truly love their customers. Very big menu and everything- including Beignets are made in house! Our table got the Main Street Benedict, falafel Benedict and classic beignets. Everything was really good.
